This way to Neverland...

After weeks of waiting, I now have my Belle de Jour planner! :)

I had the 2007 planner as well (clickie here), purchased directly from Ms. Darlyn Ty. Towards the latter part of October I received an email saying that the 2008 planner is already available for ordering. There is even a promo of 10% discount if you order before October 31. And so I went to the site and saw that next year's planner is much much better! I immediately ordered one for moi. :)

I received an email again confirming the order. What followed is a series of correspondences, wherein I opted to pick mine up at the November 28 (7:30pm - 9:30 pm) at The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf branch at Robinson's Galleria.

I arrived there about 10 minutes to 7:30, and the BDJ team still hasn't arrived. So I strolled around first and even got a "Confessions of Georgia Nicholson" book at National Bookstore for myself. The book contains "Angus, Thongs and Full frontal Snogging" and "I am now the Girlfriend of a Sex God" and at an amazingly cheap price of 100php. I bought the book using my Laking National points :)

I returned to the venue again at about 7:50pm and boy was the line long! Too many girls wanting to get their hands on the planner :)


A few moments after some girls also fell in line behind me. One guard (from another store) approached me and asked what's the fuss about. He also asked if all the people are customers of CBTL. Maybe he's from a competitor coffee shop. Haha. A young fifteen-ish girl also came up to me. Here's how the conversation went:

Girl: Miss, ano yang pilang yan?
Me: Para sa planner.
Girl: Anong planner?
Me: Yung Belle de Jour planner.
Girl: (quizzical) Ano yun? Ah pag pumila kayo libre?
Me: Hindi, um-order na kami before sa site nila, then dito yung pick-up place.
Girl: Ah so pumipila kayo para sa planner?

And then she did not wait for my answer anymore. She just up and left. She just doesn't understand.

Anyway, got mine at 8:20pm. :)

After getting my planner, I decided to go to the office since it was merely 5 minutes away. Our team was relocated again to the 34th floor. Hmpfh. Last night was my last day of leave so I'll be back to the office today. Not so feeling happy about it since it's raining and I'm feeling lazy.

I was given 100php worth of Sodexho gc's by my manager so I just waited for my team mates so we can have dinner together.

Reached home at 11:00pm.

I am so excited to write in this planner! Filled with articles and inspirational quotes inside, it is really value for money! And it's so chic and pretty, I daresay it's much much better than last year's!
